I just received Catherine Pooler’s Stamp of Approval collection from the February, 2017 release. This one is called “The Perfect Reason”. I wasn’t too sure about that peacock – but I have changed my mind. I am in love with the Peacock and all the rest of the package. There are flowers, with dies; a peacock set with LOTS of dies; some amazing sentiments; background geometric stamps; a really cool stencil; and some great leaf dies.
My package came about 4 pm, and I spent awhile cutting apart the dies and then used my Big Shot to cut out all kinds of blank die cuts from Bazzill Marshmallow heavy card stock. It really seems to hold the ink beautifully. I had a blast stamping them with the Catherine Pooler inks. They are so colorful and vibrant. Since I was not quite sure just yet what to do with the stamped die cuts – the background stamp set looked intriguing. I decided to use the 3-round stamp in rainbow colors. The card came out so colorful, and I used one of the sentiments “worry less, giggle more”. Isn’t that just so cute?
Taking the leaf dies, I cut them from some heavy gold vellum I had (Prima Marketing (SSS)). Once those were cut, the ideas just flowed. I used most of the die cuts I had stamped. and OH, THAT PEACOCK is so much FUN!
All these cards are from from the kit, and using the sentiments from the kit.
If you can afford the collection, and any are still available – get yours here Stamp of Approval I think I will spend the rest of the weekend in my craft room.
