Did someone say Cupcake??

Someone (Suzanne) mentioned to me that there was a cupcake challenge over at Cupcake Inspirations.  CUPCAKE?  I can eat a ton of them.   But it is a card challenge so I knew I had to use this stamp.   This is from Penny Black and has been around a while, but it is always one of my favorites for any reason.  Isn’t she just the cutest?

So, I stamped in momento black because I was going to use a marker to color, but then decided to grab a Spectrum Noir Sparkle glitter brush in red; because if you are going to highlight with red, you may as well make it sparkle.  I stamped the sentiment in GinaKDesigns Red Velvet ink (again with the cake reference??) – and put a bit of clear glitter brush on the word CUPCAKE.   The card base is GinaKDesigns Red Velvet card base.  A few bits of red rhinestones here and there, a white gel pen for dots, and she is ready for the challenge.

Now if you will excuse me, I am off to find a red velvet cupcake.  Not sure why. . .
