It is Day 10 of The Daily Marker 30 Day Color Challenge, and I am showcasing my coloring for Day 10. Yes. I have made it to day 10 and done a project each day. Today’s card was stamped with a Whimsy Stamp called Mary. I spent yesterday afternoon sharpening up all my Prismacolor Premiere Pencils and then colored this stamp in the early hours of this morning in shades of pink, turquoise and yellows. The frame is from Pretty Pink Posh Scallop Squares, mounted on some new pattern paper Bold and Blooming from GinaKDesigns. The card base is an A2 size Turquoise Sea also from GinaKDesigns.
So, The Daily Marker 30 Day Color Challenge – 10 days of stamps and coloring. Some days I did more than one — see my progress below. I am just starting with pencil coloring as I have usually done Spectrum Noir alcohol markers or water coloring. But I am learning so much from videos and seeing other people’s work. I even purchased a new set of 72 Prismacolor Premiere Pencils
I love this challenge. See you soon (for sure in another 10 days!) Mary Kay
Day 3 finished up some watercolored Tulips from Anthony’s Paper Craft , using the new Distress Oxide inks. Made 16 of these for a swap – whew!
Day 4 Zig markers on some Pretty Kitty from Stampin Up
Day 6 Pencil colored some GinaKDesigns Buds & Vases with white highlights for a challenge at StampTV
Day 8 Fun with the newest GinaK Designs kit (finally), and using my Spectrum Noir markers
Day 9 Another fun filled day with the incentive stamp set from GinaKDesigns
And that brings us to Day 10 with Mary and her little lamb.
