Tic Tac Toe Challenge

I am so excited to partake in the new Tic Tac Toe Challenge TTTC001 that just began this week.
From the Tic Tac Toe board I chose Stripes, Vellum and Heat Embossing.

My stripes are from the new GinaKDesigns Sentimental Summer Kit. They are part of a pattern paper stack that can be foiled.  The Petite Patterns paper stack is part of the kit but can be purchased separately.  The foil used was ThermoWeb Deco Rainbow foil.    The vellum has small silver hearts on it which tied into the  white embossed sentiment from My Favorite Things Rainbow Greeting set.  For the embossing, I used Versamark and Ranger Fine White embossing powder.

The butterflies are cut out of foiled vellum.  I had some negative foil left from a previous card.  Using some 2.5 inch double sided tape from Elizabeth Designs that was put on some vellum, I placed the negative piece on the tape and rubbed it down well.  When the foil piece is pulled up, the foil remains on the tape.  There were some lines and dots that did not fill in as they were used previously, so I used some glimmer glitter and rubbed it into those sticky areas.  Then the dies were used to cut out the butterflies and adhered to the card.  The small butterfly is from Sugar Pea design and available at catherinepooler. The larger butterfly is Impression Obsession Fancy Butterfly.

A few more bits of rainbow bling and this is ready to go to a loved one (at least I don’t have to mail it).

I hope you have lots of rainbows in your life.   Mary Kay
